Battery charging & testing

Six charging and six measurement channels

Developed STM32F103 firmware for channel scheduling, sensing and communications, and contributed to system integration. The team’s device was delivered in August 2024.

Intelligent vehicle: embedded motion control

The team vehicle used a high-mounted, downward-facing camera to recognise picture cards on the floor, then an electromagnetic pickup arm to collect and sort them. My work covered PCB and mechanical design, RT1064 firmware, inertial navigation and steering/speed PID.

PLC-based elevator group control

Carried out the main development of a three-elevator, ten-floor system in a three-person team, including weighted scheduling, LAD/SCL control logic and WinCC supervision.

Firmware

Channel scheduling

I developed channel enable/configuration, state machines and multi-channel task scheduling in the STM32F103 firmware.

Firmware

Charge & SOC process

I implemented charging-process and SOC-calibration sequencing. The TL494 + BUCK stage provides the independent CC/CV power-regulation loop.

Acquisition

Acquire measurements

I implemented ADC acquisition and digital processing. Internal-resistance analogue signal processing uses an externally sourced module.

Integration

Data & interaction

I implemented data/command communication and LCD/HMI interaction. The C# host application and ML consistency-analysis algorithm were developed outside my responsibilities.

My focus: STM32 firmware, acquisition, communication and system integration.

Vehicle motion control

Team perception input · RT1064 navigation and control

Team contribution

Visual input

The team’s visual-recognition module supplies inputs to the vehicle system. A teammate developed the deep-learning model.

My contribution

Inertial navigation

I worked on inertial navigation and the vehicle’s motion-control logic, building the initial software framework on RT1064.

My contribution

Steering & speed PID

I implemented steering PID and motor-speed PID control as part of the vehicle’s motion-control system.

My contribution

Vehicle actuation

I integrated motion control with the vehicle hardware, designing the controller/motor-driver PCBs in Altium Designer and the mechanical structure in SolidWorks.

My focus: controller/driver PCBs, vehicle mechanics, inertial navigation and PID motion control.

Elevator group control

Control logic

Hall & car requests

I developed the main control logic around external hall calls, in-car requests and the operating states of the three-elevator system.

Scheduling

Operating factors

The group-control strategy considers distance, direction, load and operating state when evaluating elevator assignments.

My contribution

Weighted dispatch

I implemented weighted group scheduling, peak-traffic detection and strategy switching using call/request conditions.

My contribution

PLC & supervision

I developed individual-elevator control and protection logic in LAD/SCL and the WinCC supervisory interface, with monitoring, authentication, alarms and debugging functions.

My focus: the main PLC control, weighted dispatch, WinCC supervision and system integration.
